Vincentians serve all those in need in the neighbourhood through person-to-person contact. Emergency assistance is given by way of food and clothing. Guidance and advocacy are also offered to enable individuals and families to access assistance offered by community agencies. At St. John Vianney Parish meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7:00 p.m. and the 4th weekend of each month has been designated as food collection for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Canned vegetables, soup, breakfast cereals and pasta sauces are really appreciated.
It is through the parishioners generosity that we can help the families in need in our neighbourhood.
